Technical fault delays cutoff grades in Andalusia (2026-2027)
A technical problem on the Distrito Único Andaluz (DUA) portal delayed the publication of the first bachelor's degree admission round on 3 July, and weeks later the public cutoff-grade lookup tool is still disabled.
On 3 July, the day scheduled for the publication of the first bachelor's degree admission round for 2026-2027 at Andalusia's public universities, more than 50,000 students who had sat the Prueba de Acceso a la Universidad (PAU) were met with an unexpected notice on the Distrito Único Andaluz (DUA) portal: "Due to technical problems, the publication of the first admission round of the ordinary phase for bachelor's degrees will take place later today."
The incident caused hours of uncertainty among Andalusian students, who couldn't check at the scheduled time whether they had been admitted to the degree programme they had applied for after passing their entrance exam.
A very tight calendar
The delay was particularly awkward because Andalusia's admission calendar leaves very little margin: the deadline to enrol, hold a reservation or confirm your place on the waiting list for the first admission round ran until 9 July, just days after the fault. That's followed by the second admission round, published on 16 July with an enrolment deadline of 20 July, and then five staggered resultas (leftover-place) rounds between 24 July and 8 October.
The lookup tool is still disabled weeks later
As of today, the DUA's cutoff-grade search tool still shows the notice "LA CONSULTA ESTÁ DESHABILITADA" ("Lookup is disabled") on both the Junta de Andalucía website and its mirror domain. This affects not only students wanting to check their own admission result, but also any tool or advisor that needs to compare official cutoff grades for Andalusian universities for 2026-2027, since most universities in the region don't publish their own table independent of the DUA.

The other Andalusian public universities (Córdoba, Cádiz, Huelva, Granada, Jaén and Almería) will keep showing the last verified cutoff grade until the DUA is operational again.
